The skilled and experienced instructors at our schools are experts in haircutting, hairstyling, hair designing, skin care and manicuring. Courses provide theory and practical instruction. Demonstrations, doll head exercises, beauty clinic services and mock boards. Demonstrations from outside professionals are provided periodically. The professionally administered curriculum includes the use of Marinello's nationally known methods.

Career programs are offered that can be completed in a year or less. The training is intense, and students take only the courses related to their career goals. Classes are usually small, and over 50% of the training is "hands-on". Learning by doing has long been the most effective means of teaching cosmetology skills. Whether you are mastering the basics or experimenting with the latest styles, you will learn under the guidance of an experienced instructor. As you progress in your training, you will move to the clinic floor where you can put your new skills to the test on real customers.
