Cosmetology The curriculum for students enrolled in this program consists of practical training and technical instruction covering all practices of cosmetology (including a course in shop department consisting of training in courtesy and professional attitude in meeting the public), which includes technical classroom instruction in the science and practice of cosmetology, and applied effort for the minimum number of practical operations. State Law requires 1800 hours to be completed in order to apply for a Cosmetology license examination.
Esthetician The curriculum for students enrolled in a skin care course consists of 600 clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices of an esthetician, pursuant to the Laws and Administrative Code governing the practice of Cosmetology in Nevada.

Technical instruction is the instruction by demonstration, lecture, classroom participation, or examination; practical operation shall mean the actual performance by the student of a complete service on another person. Nevada State Law requires a Minimum of 600 hours to be completed at a licensed beauty school to apply for an esthetician license. |
Manicuring The curriculum consists of a minimum of 70 hours of classroom instruction in the science and practice of manicuring, 15 hours of Nevada Law and regulations, and a minimum of 320 hours of practical training and technical instruction in the practice of manicuring.

Nevada State Law requires a minimum of 500 hours to be completed to apply for a manicuring license. Marinello issues a "Record of Completion" and processes students' registration documentation for taking the State Board License Exam upon completion of the course. |

Hair Designing The course includes a minimum of 150 hours of classroom instruction in the science and practice of hair design, 20 hours of Nevada Law and Regulations and a minimum of 1030 hours of practical training and technical instruction in the practice of hair design. Nevada State Law requires 1200 hours to be completed in order to apply for a Hair Design License.
Teacher Training The curriculum consists of 1000 hours of technical instruction and practical operations in teaching the art of cosmetology. Technical instruction means instruction by demonstration, lecture, classroom participation, or examination; practical operation is the actual participation and performance by the teacher trainee of teaching techniques and principles. The trainee must complete the required 1000 hours of training, be able to pass the 200 question examination and the 100 question Nevada State Law Examination to receive a Teacher's License.
