PHASE 2: Professional Images/ Expert Artistry
Class Description:
This Professional Images course is for those professionals who already possess the knowledge and basic skills of Make-up Artistry. It is designed for those working in the Beauty Industry as a Cosmetic Make-up Artist, representative of a Salon/Spa/Cosmetic Company, Freelance Make-up Artist. Designed as an intermediate course, Professional Images provides students with in-depth study of various make-up looks, preparing them for:
• Bridal/Special Occasion Industry
• Fashion Shows/Pageants
• Photography Work (Black & White and Color)
• Portfolio building and career expansion
• Working with other professionals and agencies
The course teaches students the effects of lighting, corrective and camouflage techniques, concepts of photography, pageantry, fashion shows, print work and the proper application of make-up relating to these venues. In addition, basic airbrush concepts, body make-up, body painting, tattoo creation and tattoo covering will be discussed as well, all with “real time” practice of your newly acquired skills.
We will delve into the business side of what it takes to be successful in this industry starting with self-confidence, networking and marketing skills. Students will learn how to build a portfolio, expand their resume, establish rates and fees for services, and cultivate relationships with agencies and organizations.
Lastly, we will touch on how to work with photographers, and graphic artists in the best way, to customize your portfolio photographs. This will enable you to present your work and skills as a Professional Make-up Artist for the maximum visual impact that will show in your portfolio.
Prerequisite:
Phase 1 completion or a Certification from a previous Institute of equal standing is required before advancement onto Phase 2 or Phase 3.

To guarantee your seat in the class, a 50% deposit must be paid in advance with the balance due and payable on the first day of class. Entire cost may be paid in full ahead of time. Payments may be made by check, money order, or online with a credit/debit card.

Refund Policy–Please Read Carefully
The Minimum Deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable unless the class is cancelled or rescheduled. If you must cancel your enrollment in the course, written notice must be provided to the school a
minimum of 48 hours prior to the start of the first class session to receive a refund. The refund, less the
Minimum Deposit, will be reimbursed within thirty (30) days of cancellation.
All students must complete the Make-up Course Application and Enrollment Agreement forms and bring
